Day one and two-

Day one I was evaluating on what I should write, If I should write in a journal handwritten or create a blog. I decided to dust off the old live journal I had when I was a teenager. Reading this stuff is silly. Yesterday on my day one instead of writing I looked back at what I had written in the past. I'm going to use this time of 15-20 minutes day writing in journal about anything that may pop in my head. I have made all my high school post "private" not because I don't want people to read my bad grammar and really silly posts, but simply I would like to spend the next 30 days focusing on the present.

I am now a wife and a mother, and typing that seems crazy. It was just 8 short years ago that I was on this live journal proclaiming my love of Britney Spears and participating in Harry Potter forums. 2014 was so busy for me. 2014 was the first full year where I worked in my dream profession as a crisis counselor for children. 2014 was the first time in over ten years that I did not work in restaurant business. 2014 was the first year I had medical insurance not through my parents!!!2014 was the year I got married, to a wonderful man. 2014 was the year I found out I was pregnant with my first child, and 2014 was the year I got to meet my daughter. My daughter Aria, my heart. 2014 was also the year where I became a homeowner with my husband.

I have no new years resolution for 2015 because every time I set one, I fail. I fail because to do something for a whole year is daunting. usually when people mess up, they feel like they have to wait a whole other year before they can try again. I am setting monthly goals to better my life, starting with this #writeandrun31 I promise to walk 10,000 steps a day and work out at the gym at least three times a week. I also promise to write in this blog for at least 20 minutes a day.

Each month I will try a new goal and modify something and hopefully continue to blog this. My MAIN goal is to be a healthier version of myself. I do this not just for me, but for my daughter as well. This isn't a weight loss blog or a get fit blog. This is a transformation log. I cannot promise that I will lose weight, although of course that is a goal. I can only promise to try to better myself and my health in order to keep with a my growing baby.
